    Background

Prior to founding Anastasia Impact, Heidi was a licensed Financial Advisor with UBS Financial Services in the Leonard Social and Sustainable Investment Group.  UBS invests $253 Billion — representing 11% of their global assets — in social and sustainable investments.  Heidi was drawn to come on-board due by UBS' major wire house leadership position in global systems shift-oriented investments.

It became clear that, in traditional finance, a Call was brewing for increased collaboration and more aligned collective impact.  Heidi answered by generating work strategies that could bridge traditional client support approaches and relationship-based innovations.  The result is Anastasia Impact:  a financial impact firm born from that bridge-building paradigm.  It exists to activate — and support maximizing the global impact of — Millennials and women investors through strategic collaboration and collective paradigm alignment. Most recently she has launched together with her children - Dream Tank, an innovative accelerator and think tank enabling kids to launch their dreams.

Heidi’s prime career directive is socially-responsible corporate growth, from companies and nonprofits to political campaigns.  As a graduate of Brown University, she views her time there as having inspired her to dedicate her life to making significant changes, on the world stage, via her career choices.  In 2004, she steered her career toward social impact investing, eventually developing and running Acumen Fund's Business Development / Investor Relations department.  Prior to shifting to UBS, she managed the Investor Relations department of iDE (International Development Enterprises) and created the iDE Ambassador Group:  a consortium of high net-worth benefactors who invested time, capital, and skill directly into the company.  Once at UBS, her meta-niche became generating paths for increased global systems shifts.  After joining their aforementioned Leonard sustainable investment group, she broadened its scope of investment opportunities — for families, corporations, foundations, and other organizations — by retargeting their financial resources specifically on constructive social change.

Generating educational platforms — that directly address social impact investing — is one of Heidi's primary passions.  This has resulted in opportunities such as:

    • addressing the realm of social impact at LOHAS forum's Impact Investing Collaboratory

    • being a panelist at Brown's inaugural Social Innovation conference

    • giving lectures to varying levels of Harvard College students

    • presenting a TED-style talk at Harvard's Igniting Innovation Conference

    • funding, and launching, The Posner Center for International Development, a program incubated by iDE.  It brings together an innovation-focused community of 60+ NPOs and for-profit businesses — from 100+ countries — through a shared mission of developing sustainable global poverty solutions

    • co-founding Women in Impact Investing, a Colorado-based group that aligns community, collaboration, and collective impact in a successful and inventive paradigm for impact investing

    • addressing the transformation of education at the Global MindEd Denver conference

    • being a panelist at the Cavendish Global Impact Forum for Ultra-high-net-worth individuals to learn and shift their funds to social impact investing

Heidi's volunteer work is similarly oriented towards social change.  It includes diverse roles as:

    • a member of the Care First Innovation Network

    • a lifetime member of Impact Hub Boulder

    • a member of the Fifth Element Group & Decade of Women

    • a mentor to Millennial change agents at Watson University

    • a mentor to University of Colorado Fellows at Dream Tank

    • a Social Impact Advisor to entrepreneurs via Impact Hub Boulder

    • a volunteer at the LOHAS forum; the Unreasonable Institute; Earth's Call; Earth Guardians; and Brown University

    • Advisor for TreeSisters.org, a global network of women seeding change through accelerating global reforestation and shifts toward sustainable living

As the mother of 2 amazing children — 12-year old Summer and 9-year old Cody — Heidi is regularly reminded of her mission: manifesting a healed planet and a peaceful world through aligned social impact.  She chooses to have faith that full expression of our souls' purposes will heal the planet, so she lives from that place while actively supporting others — through collaborative and collective action in her career, volunteer work, and relationships — to do the same.
